Up-to-date sounds for the elegant French brand

The French artisan bakery has passed bread and patisserie recipes down through the family for over one hundred years. Their first UK branch opened in London in 2000 and there are now 31 shops throughout the UK.

The Challenge

Paul Patisserie wanted to build on their established music sound, retaining their French provenance but reinterpreting in a modern and relevant way.

What we did

Paul’s positioning is sophisticated, cosmopolitan and strongly rooted in its French heritage without being clichéed. We were brought into to update their sound and ensure it was still as fresh as ever.

 

We devised a playlist that would create an ambience suited to a worldly London café crowd, choosing tracks that the audience would appreciate but wouldn’t necessarily be familiar with to spark interest and discovery.

 

There result was an elegant, thoughtful selection that was up-to-date and paid close to different audiences throughout the day: from the refreshing, positive, uplifting sound at breakfast time through to a relaxed and authentic afternoon sound.
